We were recently featured by The Oracle Boulevard, who took a closer look inside Paradox Coffee Roasters Cafe Broadbeach and captured what our new home is all about: specialty coffee, great food, considered design and a space made for everything from the morning coffee run to a long Broadbeach brunch.

A New Chapter for Paradox in Broadbeach

After more than a decade in Surfers Paradise, Paradox Coffee Roasters has found a new Gold Coast home in the heart of Broadbeach.

Our cafe at the Oracle Dining Precinct brings more of the Paradox experience together under one roof.

It's light-filled and welcoming, and there's more than one way to sit with it: cosy booths, communal tables, indoor-outdoor seating, whatever suits how you're spending your time here.

A quick takeaway, breakfast with someone, or a slower brunch. We wanted the café to feel just as comfortable whether you're in for ten minutes or a couple of hours.

Specialty Coffee Takes Centre Stage

Coffee is still what the café is built around.

Our signature oval coffee bar sits front and centre, you can watch the whole brewing process happen right there, with nothing tucked away in a back room.

The Oracle Boulevard feature also covers our custom La Marzocco setup and batch brew system, and the people who run them.

Head Roaster Yogesh and the Paradox team source coffee from growers around the world, then roast each one differently to bring out its own character.

Stick with a Paradox favourite like Penny Lane, caramel, dark chocolate, cinnamon, or try something from our changing single origin selection.

Coffee That Doesn't Take Itself Too Seriously

We care deeply about coffee.

That said, it doesn't stop us from having a bit of fun with it.

The Oracle Boulevard team picked up on some of the more playful creations on our menu, including Strawberry Brownie Lattes, Lychee Pavlova Lattes and Fruits of the Forest cold brew.

They're a different side of the Paradox coffee experience, same attention to detail, just with flavours that take you somewhere you don't expect.

Stick with a classic or go somewhere completely different. Either way, it's your call.

Breakfast and Brunch Deserve the Same Attention

Great coffee might get you through the door, but the food should give you a reason to stay.

Led by Head Chef Vivek, our Broadbeach menu brings together established Paradox favourites and newer seasonal dishes.

The Oracle Boulevard feature highlights dishes including Chilli Scrambled Eggs, Soba Noodle Salad, Roasted Pear Granola and Miso Mushroom.

It's a menu designed for different kinds of mornings.

A Cafe Designed to Be Experienced

There's another part of Paradox that has nothing to do with what's on your plate or in your cup.

The space itself.

The large-scale mural by Vans the Omega is one of the first things you notice in our Broadbeach café, created to mark ten years of Paradox Coffee Roasters on the Gold Coast.

Its geometry, colour and layered hand-painted textures were shaped specifically around the café's own architecture and design.

Look at it from across the room, and you see one thing. Get closer, and you start discovering the smaller details, textures and imperfections within it.

More Than Great Coffee

That's the phrase The Oracle Boulevard used to describe Paradox, and it captures exactly what we want our Broadbeach cafe to be.

Yes, we're serious about specialty coffee.

But a great cafe is also about the food, the atmosphere, the people behind the bar and the people sitting around the tables.

It's the quick coffee before work and the brunch that runs longer than planned.

It's trying a new single origin, ordering your usual Penny Lane or discovering something on the menu you didn't expect.

It's everything happening around the coffee that makes a cafe worth returning to.
