From Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach: Our Cafe Featured on Urban List

After more than a decade of serving coffee in Surfers Paradise, we started a new chapter for Paradox Coffee Roasters Cafe on the Gold Coast.

That chapter brought us to Broadbeach, where our new flagship café at The Oracle was built around specialty coffee, seasonal food and the different ways people use a café throughout the day.

A New Chapter for Paradox on the Gold Coast

Broadbeach represents an important next chapter for Paradox.

Our new flagship café builds on what people already knew and loved about Paradox, while also creating something shaped specifically for these new surroundings.

Urban List describes the move as Paradox officially reopening in Broadbeach, with our new flagship located in The Oracle precinct at 4 Charles Avenue.

For us, the move meant more than a new address. It meant rethinking the entire café experience.

Designed Around the Way People Use a Cafe

A quick coffee before work and a long weekend brunch are two very different cafe visits.

Our Broadbeach space needed to work for both.

The cafe spans three shopfronts, combining booth seating and communal tables with an open indoor-outdoor layout. Our signature oval-shaped coffee bar sits in the middle of it all, reimagined for our new Broadbeach home.

It's a space where you can grab a takeaway coffee and keep moving, meet someone over breakfast, settle in for brunch or take your time exploring what's currently pouring.

That flexibility mattered to us because Broadbeach brings together so many different people throughout the day, from locals and nearby office workers to Gold Coast visitors and people coming in from the beach.

Specialty Coffee Is Still at the Centre

The location may have changed, but coffee continues to be the heart of Paradox.

Urban List puts particular emphasis on our specialty coffee programme, highlighting our rotating coffee selection along with the broader specialty coffee experience available at the cafe.

At Broadbeach, that can include our signature blends, rotating single origins, batch brew coffees, limited releases, cold brew and other specialty offerings as they become available.

A Coffee Bar Built to Explore

Our oval coffee bar isn't purely a visual centrepiece. It's where much of the Paradox coffee experience comes together.

Urban List features the custom La Marzocco espresso machine alongside our batch brew tap system, creating a coffee bar that delivers both everyday favourites and more exploratory specialty coffees.

For one simply seeking great coffee in Broadbeach, we can keep things straightforward.

For coffee drinkers wanting to go further, there's an evolving specialty programme to explore.

While specialty coffee leads the way, we wanted our Broadbeach cafe to be somewhere people could spend time.

Our kitchen complements the coffee programme with a seasonal all-day menu across breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Being featured by Urban List is another exciting moment in our move to Broadbeach.
